Here are the top stories in Miami today:

1. Multiple people were injured in a shooting on Thursday night outside of a restaurant in Miami Gardens called The Licking Miami Gardens on Northwest 27th Street, according to police. Witnesses claim the shooting happened during a video shoot for rapper French Montana. (NBC Miami)

2. Miami Beach Police are investigating a pair of hit and runs that sent two pedestrians to the hospital in Miami Beach on Thursday. MBPD first received a 911 call of a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian near 44th Street and Collins Avenue, at around 3:45 pm Then a second crash involving a pedestrian occurred near 57th Street on Collins Avenue just moments later. 3. A Fort Lauderdale homeowner was Baffled after receiving an $8,000 water bill. The city said the homeowner will not be responsible after an investigation by WPLG. “Luckily, this customer was able to get a professional to identify the source of the leak. In this case, we were able to credit the majority of the amount with Leak Adjustment Credit available to customers in this situation. Our goal is always to provide the best service to our residents and use every avenue possible to find a solution,” said a city spokeswoman. (WPLG Local 10)

4. A planned 300-room themed hotel and parking garage for Jungle Island has been voted down by Miami’s Urban Development Review Board. The board shot the project down in a 3 to 0 vote. A major concern was a proposed 7-story parking garage. (MiamiToday)

5. A Survey for expats living abroad has rightanked Miami No. 1 in the United States for those moving overseas. ovhe 12,000 people living overseas were surveyed by Internationals. 85 percent of expats said they were generally happy with living in Miami, compared to 74 percent in New York and 71 percent worldwide.
