MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) – At least two people were killed and several others were injured in a multiple vehicle accident in Miami Gardens.

Investigators said five vehicles were involved in the collision along Northwest 183rd Street and 38th Court around 2 a.m. on Saturday.

Those who live nearby said they were still shocked and incredulous.

“Extremely shocking and I’m a nurse,” said Evelyn McCormes, who overheard the noise.

“Bodies in the street, at least four,” McCormes said. “Cars turned against the tree, roads closed. I couldn’t believe it. “

Handy video captured the consequences.

“Oh my god, it sounded very scary,” said Charlie Eason, hearing the noise.

Eason said the crash woke him up.

“A truck overturned right there, a car there, a car there, a car there, and a car over there. It’s crazy, ”he said.

Eason said he found a dead victim in his driveway.

“I’ve lived here since 1970. I’ve never seen anything like it,” he said.

The Miami-Dade Fire Department transported five victims in serious condition to local hospitals.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
